I’m Barbara Oliveira-Beckham, a multi-skilled creative strategist based in the Midwest, working at the intersection of content and customer behavior. My passion lies in crafting campaigns that engage humans in a real way while solving business problems. In 2023, I switched gears to focus on creative strategy, driven by my passion for weaving compelling narratives.

As an in-house employee and a freelancer, I focused on deploying data-analysis-based strategies to boost awareness and consideration. The aim was to inform, inspire, and engage new and existing stakeholders. Projects, including mental health campaigns, fashion partnerships, and collaborations with artists, successfully reached the intended audience and achieved top-line business goals.

From 2020 to 2023, I was part of the Courageous Healing team in Indiana, wearing multiple hats—from shaping the brand to refining operations to elevating the client experience. I designed an online scheduling system, reducing client registration time by 40%. Additionally, my strategic messaging contributed to securing a $1 million funding boost in 2022. Leading mental health awareness campaigns, we reached 12,214 individuals, achieving a 4.8/5 service quality rating in 2022.

Before that, from 2018 to 2020, I served as a graduate assistant at the Center for Creative Collaboration, co-leading programs with 41 events, 46 speakers, 532 attendees, and 5,188 online views.

As a freelancer, I've contributed as a content marketer for Mission Motherhood, creative director for TEDx Fort Wayne, business design and social media specialist for Rabbit Hole Ventures, and social media coordinator for CreativeMornings Fort Wayne.

  • Quote from a book:

From Bird By Bird by Anne Lamott: “Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way. You don't have to see where you're going, you don't have to see your destination or everything you will pass along the way. You just have to see two or three feet ahead of you."

    Line from a TV Show:

From The Crown, Season 2, episode 4: "It's only when we risk reaching too far that we find out how far it's possible to go." It's a powerful reminder about the importance of pushing our limits.
